Started in 1958 on the family farm, Lorence Kaufmann stared doing ag repair for other local farmers. He built a shop on the edge of Buckley IL in 1963 and we are still in that building today. The shop has been passed down to the 4th generation owner, Andrew Kaufmann. Andrew has been fabricating since he was 16 and brings machining and 3D design experience to the shops capabilities. Kaufmann Welding is growing, we have added two full time fabricators to the shop to serve the Ag repair and Fabrications needs of local farmers and grain system companies.

I had Kaufmann Welding fabricate a trailer hitch on the back of my travel trailer to be used to carry bicycles. The job turned out perfect. Evan though it was in the middle of the busy planting season and he had over 25 field repairs to be done for farm related clients, my job was done in 11 days.
